Cookie Policy

Understand how ExamAcers uses cookies, sessions and similar technologies.

Effective 5 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how ExamAcers (“ExamAcers”, “we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies, server-side sessions and similar technologies on examacers.in. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. What cookies and sessions are

A cookie is a small text file or identifier stored by a website in your browser. A session cookie normally lasts until you close your browser or sign out, while a persistent cookie may remain for a defined period. We may associate a browser cookie with information held securely on our server so that sensitive account information is not stored directly in the cookie.

2. Essential cookies

We use essential cookies and sessions where necessary to operate the website and protect learners. They may:

  • keep you signed in and maintain continuity during registration, checkout, test attempts and answer review;
  • protect forms and requests against cross-site request forgery and similar attacks;
  • support email verification, password reset, logout and other account-security functions;
  • remember a temporary selection or the state of an active test attempt; and
  • detect repeated failed logins, automated requests, fraud or misuse.

These technologies are required for core account, payment and test-delivery functions. Blocking them may prevent registration, login, checkout, test access or answer submission from working correctly.

3. Preference and functional technologies

We may use limited cookies or browser storage to remember non-sensitive settings such as interface preferences, dismissed notices or unfinished form state. These technologies improve continuity but are not used to store complete payment-card details or your account password.

4. Analytics and service measurement

We may use privacy-conscious analytics or internal logs to understand page usage, diagnose errors, measure service performance and improve test administration. Depending on the tool, this may involve a cookie or information such as page requests, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device type, language, referring page and timestamps. Where consent is legally required for a non-essential analytics cookie, we will request it before using that cookie.

5. Payment and other third-party services

Payment gateways, hosting providers, security services or embedded third-party functions may use their own cookies when you interact with them. Their technologies are governed by their own policies. We select service providers for a defined operational purpose and do not authorize them to use ExamAcers learner information for unrelated advertising.

6. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete cookies and notify you when a site attempts to store one. Browser controls vary by provider and device. Deleting cookies may sign you out, clear temporary preferences or interrupt an active test. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through an ExamAcers preference control while you use functions that depend on them.

7. Duration

Session cookies generally expire after logout, inactivity or the end of a browser session. Persistent cookies, where used, remain only for the period reasonably required for their stated purpose. Server security and transaction logs may be retained separately as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our technology, service providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and change the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or your registered contact details where appropriate.
